1st Asian Amateur Top 10 Go Championship Print E-mail

The 1st Asian Amateur Top 10 Go Championship is organized by Taiwan Chi Yuan Culture Foundation. This tournament will be held from the 26th to 30th June 2008 in Taipei, Taiwan. 

We are invited to send 1 representative to participate in the tournament. The organizer will cover the player's meal & accommodation expenses. The player need to pay for their own air-ticket.  
 
Members who are interested to participate, please register yourself with Mr. Tiong or Billy. A selection tournament will be held if there are more players interested to joint. We need to summit entry form before 30 April.

Please be informed that Malaysia Weiqi Association will hold the MWA Tournament 2008 on:
 
Date     : 5th Jan 2008 (Saturday)
Venue  : Japan Club - Fuji Room (Taman Seputih, KL)
Time     : 3.00 pm

 
The tournament result will be use to select representative for WAGC 2008 (World Amateur Go Championship) in Japan & 4th Toyota-Denso Cup (Asian Qualifying Tournament) in Singapore.
 
All members are encourage to take part in this tournament, see you there.

 24th SEA (South East Asia ) Games

SEA GamesGoGO game has been included as the demonstration sport in 24th SEA Games, the competition will be held from 8-11 Dec, 2007 in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.

The 24th SEA Games Go Competition will be contested in the following events:

  •   Men Singles
  •   Women Singles
  •   Mixed Pair Event (Pair Go)

 

Malaysia Weiqi Association (MWA) will be sending the following team to participate in this event:
