WMSG logo

The 1st World Mind Sports Games (WMSG) will be held in Beijing from 3rd Oct to 18 Oct 2008. This event is organize by the Board and Card Games Administrative Center of the General
Administration of China and sponsor by International Mind Sports Association (IMSA)

The 1st WMSG is a multi-events games and for the first time in human history five mind sports – chess, go, draughts, bridge and xiangqi are integrated as one games.  There will be more than 3600 players from 143 countries and regions will participate in the games.

 

Malaysia Weiqi Association will participate in the Weiqi Men's Individual and Weiqi Men's Team vents.

The 3rd Annual Japanese Language Festival 2008 Print E-mail

In conjunstion with the Japanese Festival in Malaysia 2008, there will be a Culture & Arts Demonstration & Experience event held in Univertsity Malaysia.  
 
Go game is one of the scheduled event during this festival, Japanese Go Club & Malaysia Weiqi Association will hold a series of Go game presentation, demonstration and workshop as part of the cultural experience.
 
Date: 27 July 2008 (Sunday)
Time: 8.30am - 12.30pm
Venue: University Malaya (Perdana Siswa)
