Event: Teaching games and simultaneous games with Bao Yun
Date: Sunday, 4 Oct 2009
Time: 1:00 pm
Venue: Fuji Room - Japan Club KL Come and joint us this Sunday and enjoy Go playing session with Bao Yun. Bao Yun (鲍云) is one of the top amateur Weiqi player in China, his speciality is playing bind-fold weiqi that require super memory power and concentration. Even pro playes are unable to complete a game bind-foleded. This is the second visit of Bap Yun, he last visited us on 11 July 2007. Here's the link to the past activities.

Tournament Result Malaysia placed 5th out of 17 teams, 15 countries. (Chinese Taipei and USA had 2 teams. - Boon Ping placed 6th out of 34 participants.(5 wins, 2 loss)
- Zaid placed 14th out of 34 participants. (4 wins, 3 loss)

- 3rd --- USA (Team 1)

- 5th --- MALAYSIA

The 20th International Amateur Pair Go Selection Tournament
 Date: 8 Aug (Saturday)
Time: 3pm
Venue: Japan Club, Fuji Room
Tournament is open to all MWA members, we will select the strongest Pair Go team to participate in this championship. Those who interested to join, please contact Mr. Tiong or visit MWA Forum. There will be a Japanese-Malaysia Go Tournament in Japan Club:
Date: Sunday 26 July 2009
Time: 1.00pm

Participation fee: RM20 per person.
